Iqhra Educational & Charitable Trust with the main focus of improving the health, education with awareness & skill development in and around Gulbarga, Karnataka.

Iqhra Educational & Charitable Trust (R), Dist. Gulbarga, was registered in 2003. The main focus is to establish and run educational and other institutions for the promotion of education in various forms and kinds within the territory of India. This could include establishing and maintaining job oriented courses, other technical and non technical courses, professional colleges, law colleges, TCH colleges, night colleges, medical colleges, BDS colleges, nursing colleges, open university colleges, computer training centers, and tailoring institutions for women. Furthermore, providing facilities to the poor and deserving students for their higher studies is also looked into for building their bright future.

World AIDS Day

Our society has arranged a seminar and video show elocution competition at various places in Chowdapur and Chowdapur Tanda, Chinmagera, Ganagapur, Gobbur, Taluku Afzalpur, and Gulbarga District on the eve of World AIDS Day. National Education Day

As part of the National Education Day observation, we arranged an elocution contest for high school and PU College students. Along with these, a seminar was also conducted, and 30 students attended the seminar. The observance of National Education Day proved to be a significant and enriching experience, fostering a sense of appreciation for education and its transformative power. The various activities were conducted throughout the day, which contributed to the holistic development of students, educators, and the education sector as a whole.

National Nutrition Week

The National Nutrition Week observation proved to be a resounding success, reaching a wide audience and instilling a sense of awareness about the importance of good nutrition. The engaged participation from the community, local schools, and healthcare professionals highlighted the significance of collaborative efforts in promoting a healthier and well-nourished society.

World Yoga Day

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Iqhra Educational & Charitable Trust arranged a two day yoga training camp at the trust's operational area in M.S.K. Mill Gulbarga. On that day, eminent yoga teachers trained yoga with some health education tips. In this camp, 190 students attended yoga. The diverse range of activities underscored the inclusivity of yoga, demonstrating its potential to bring people together for a common purpose, i.e; the pursuit of a healthier and more balanced life through the practice of yoga. The success of the day lies not only in the events themselves but in the lasting impact they leave on individuals and communities, inspiring a continued commitment to yoga as a way of life.

Savings Programme For Women

Iqhra Educational & Charitable Trust (R) Dist. Gulbarga, initiated the Self-Help Groups strategy to organize rural women by starting their process of employment. The members have fostered the little savings scheme encouraged by the organization, and as a result, they are now beginning to save significant sums among themselves in order to access ame

SHGs Book Keeping Training

A training program was organized for the members of the women self help groups promoted by Iqhra Educational & Charitable Trust (R) Dist Gulbarga in the 07 villages of Afzalpur Taluka and Gulbarga. The content of the training is, to properly maintain all the records of the SHGs, the account opening procedure, keeping a separate book of accounts, and maintaining the pass book, savings book, loan book, and cash book. Individual women participated in these trainings from 15 self help groups, 7 villages of Chowadapur, Taluku Afzalpur Dist. Gulbarga.

Free Medical Camp

A free medical camp was organized with the aim of providing essential healthcare services to the underserved and economically disadvantaged members of the community. Experienced doctors and healthcare professionals conducted free medical consultations, addressing a variety of health concerns raised by attendees. Each participant had the opportunity for a one-on-one consultation to discuss their health issues. This event stands as a testament to the positive outcomes achievable through coordinated efforts to improve healthcare accessibility for underserved populations.
